Robbins has worked as a carpenter, art gallery assistant, band manager, copywriter, ghostwriter, editor, website director (ufocity.com, 1998-2004), and throughout most of the Eighties was House Manager for New York City’s celebrated Mirror Repertory Company. And was a crisis intervention volunteer and shift supervisor for Samaritans International New York City office. He is an experienced New York City walking touring guide and an accomplished photographer."

Needless to say, that is quite a lengthy biography, but are any scientific accomplishments contained within it? In my humble opinion, not a single one.

So why is Peter Robbins viewed in such a favorable light? What the hell are his scientific accomplishments? Has he uncovered any scientifically defensible answers to the UFO problem? Has he brought forward, for independent public scrutiny, any tangible proof or evidence which would lend any credibility to the stories he so often embraces and promotes? Has he participated in any legitimate scientific explorations and/or investigations of the many claims that permeate the UFO landscape? If so, where are the transparently published, peer-reviewed scientific papers and reports spelling out the results of his investigative endeavors?

It must be stated that Robbins' book "Left at East Gate," certainly does not qualify or measure up to any reasonable journalistic standards.

After the publication of my previous article which looked at the "accomplishments" of Mr. Robbins, some revealing and not unexpected events took place. Evidently not enamored with my points of view, Mr. Robbins did not make the effort to message me, nor did he call me (he has my phone number,) nor did he email me at any time. Instead he chose to share my article on his personal account on Facebook, in an attempt to circle the wagons, motivating his followers to attack yours truly, so his ego and public persona could be defended against my seemingly outrageous statements. Some of the comments left behind spoke volumes, with several well-known people in the UFO arena taking part in the childish exercise, Mike Clelland, Dave Scott, and Rich Hoffman of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies numbered among them. Mr. Clelland evidently thinks that scientific problems can and should be solved by unqualified, uneducated people. What an embarrassment. Mr. Scott is a broadcaster, not an investigator, and is a promoter of nonsensical pseudoscientific crap, although to his eternal credit, he does hold a degree in journalism, which places him an educational rung above Mr. Robbins in that respect. As far as Mr. Hoffman's opinion, he should know what a scientific accomplishment is, since he is a board member of the SCU, so perhaps his bow tie is wrapped around his pompous neck just a bit too tight to allow for rational thought processes to be reasonably undertaken.

The names and rhetoric thrown in my direction are of no importance or consequence. What is interesting is how many of my inquiries were left unanswered, all of them in fact. One would think that some of these aforementioned "gentlemen" would have posted a peer-reviewed scientific paper written by Mr. Robbins to support his claims and alleged accomplishments, but nothing has surfaced as of this writing. Even Mr. Robbins himself has been incapable of answering my questions by providing legitimate scientific investigative reports or summaries. If there was one way to make me eat ufological crow, to embarrass me in a public way, then it would make logical sense to make such information public, but alas, nothing has been put forward, just names and attacks, nothing of substance.

Now it must be made plainly clear what an accomplishment is defined as. In the eyes of the scientific research community, are appearances on shows or programs, or event organizational efforts seen as accomplishments? No. When Bill Nye or Neil deGrasse Tyson appear on CBS News, or PBS' Nova program, are such appearances accomplishments? No, they are simply on-the-air opportunities to promote science. When scientists deliver lectures to the masses, are such efforts seen as accomplishments? No. Scientific accomplishments are a high standard to attain and always involve the answering of previously unknown, unexplained, unanswered questions about the natural world we currently reside in. In the law-enforcement realm, are unsupported conclusions seen as accomplishments? No. Only when perpetrators of crimes against the public are brought to justice can the term accomplishment be logically applied, with such legal convictions arrived at by the use of valid data, irrefutable proof, and physical, tangible evidence, not beliefs, opinions, guesswork, or the many other tinfoil-wrapped aids in the pseudoscientific toolbox. Mr. Robbins has not produced any tangible proof or evidence to support his claims, nor has he answered any of the questions surrounding the enigma of unidentified flying objects, nor does he hold a scientific degree in any discipline or possess any investigative experience that would qualify him to assist a law-enforcement entity or scientific research entity in their endeavors.

If Mr. Robbins was in possession of evidence of alien visitation, he certainly would have won a Nobel Prize by now. However, that has not transpired, so the only logical conclusion is that he has no proof or evidence, just his own bloated ego, his unconfirmed beliefs, and his faithful followers, ready and willing to conduct themselves like gradeschool children at recess.

Peter Robbins is a UFO celebrity and nothing more than that. If I am wrong about my declarations, then I encourage any of Mr. Robbins' faithful followers, indeed Mr. Robbins himself, to prove me wrong, make me eat ufological crow, and embarrass me in public.

It should not be all that difficult Peter, show us all. Put up or shut up.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
